Dog fight problems:( pls help?

I have two female dogs, both are about 5 years old. About a week ago our staffordshire terrier grabbed our boxer by the top of the neck and refused to let go. This happened as me and a few friends were just coming home. luckily the boxer was unharmed. the dogs were introduced again and we had no problems for a couple of days. then when my mom came home from work, it happened again. We went to the vet and were told that the staffordshire terrier was getting over stimulated when someone comes home. Is it likely that the staffordshire terrier could get over stimulated and turn on a human like it did the dog??? it breaks my heart to ask this because i love this dog, we never thought that she would turn on her best friend:( pls help

My indoor Siamese, Polly, is missing...?

Hi! i'm 13 years old and i have a 3 year old Siamese Torti named Polly. She is very sweet, friendly, and playful, but she's not the brightest when it comes to outdoors. Yes. I had pain, a constant ache in my lower back, and pain in my hip joints that would wake me at night, but would go away when I rolled over. That went on for about 5 years. One AM I woke up, rolled over and stretched, and something snapped so low in my spine, I didn't know anything was movable that far down. And I was pain free for 10 months. Then one AM I woke up unable to move, the pain was so bad. I was literally immobilized for 9 months, I even had to learn to wake up and sit up in order to turn over in bed, before they finally decided there might be something really wrong, and did an MRI. I had a synovial cyst on the inside of my spine, as large as a plum, and it was pressing on nerve roots. They did surgery less than a week later. By that time, there had been so much nerve damage done that it took 7 years for the pain to completely go away, but it was bearable, nonetheless. I was only on pain pills for 2 months after the surgery. Before the surgery, they'd refused to give me anything, and I survived on Naproxin. The synovium is the membrane covering the bones.

Why are people completely OK with capitalism when life is so meaningless?

For the most part, unless you own the means of production, you work for someone else, going about your menial day-to-day tasks with little decision making process in the company, awaiting your pay cheque so you can buy a bunch of **** that above survival goods can occupy your time. Everyone just cares about profit, and you see all these advertisements that manipulate you into thinking you need the product, so we just become a consumerist society where our conversations are so wrapped around our trivial routines and material possessions! We think success is defined by reaching the top of the corporate ladder, having a "respectable" position, and having a bunch of stuff! We think our lives are so important (LOL) and going to the store and buying food and going to work and coming home and watching TV and having dinner and hanging out with our friends talking about our stupid lives and events and activities and doing the SAME thing every day is meaningful!

Running a marathon - foot discomfort and advice?

I've been training for a marathon that is two weeks from now. I've run 35-40 miles/week for several years now (pain free), and I ran 21 miles (3h05m) last weekend without any muscle pain, and I didn't hit "the wall". The perfect board for me?

I am a begginner technically, but I got good quick and after 4 days on the slope I was keeping up with the seasoned riders...I am lookin for a board for myself now (I hate renting all the time) and I get lots of opinions and advice from friends. For right now, a board that is great for just cruisin down the mountain with effortless turn transitions is what im lookin for. I will eventually progress into the park (all my friends rip the park all day, so I guess I have to get there sometime). So here's a little summary: I'm 140lbs, 5'-8", 15 yrs old. You will be able to do all the things you mentioned on it. The downside to using a netbook to watch netflix or youtube is that the screen is very small. As long as you can get over that, you are golden. I looked into getting a netbook instead of a regular laptop too but I decided I couldn't handle it because the keys were too close together for my taste. I opted for a Lenovo that is compact, has a long battery life, is not too heavy, and has a larger screen. Obviously, the negative to this is that I paid 700 instead of the 300 you're going for. I say get the netbook :)

I would definitely have to say Vienna. I lived there for 3 months and wish I could go back every single day. It is so beautiful and so safe! I would have no problem walking around the city at night alone. It also has so much to do all the time. I would not suggest Florence or Prague. They are more touristy places and don't have all that much to do. Barcelona is pretty up and happening, though.

hi i have a 28 day cycle like you and i use ovulation tests (my first month using them) and i took the first test on day 11 as it says in the instruction and i got a positive on day 13 of my cycle so i would ovulate between 12 - 72 hours after my positive test. So if you were like me i would problem say between days 11 and 16 but i cannot be sure as every one is different. You might want to pick up some ovulation tests so you can be sure of your body's dates. Good luck xx

For the New York Police Department, You need atleast two years military service or two years of college. I plan on enlisting in the Marine Corps for four years and wondering about online schooling. Since I already meet the requirement to become a police officer I don't have to worry about that. I'm worried about making a promotion. To become a NYPD SGT You need 64 College credits. To become a NYPD LT You need 94 College credits. And for Capt. You need a Bachelors degree in criminal justice. I don't want to go to school while on the force, so can I get enough credits during my active duty service from online courses? The government pays the whole tuiton for college right? Can I get my bachelors online? I plan on getting a bachelors in criminal justice to meet the requirements of Captain. Even though I might not plan on becoming a captain ( I don't feel like worrying about CompStat and the natural stress captains deal with from high ups. + LT's can make overtime while captains can't. I need some good book series recommendations!?

I'm 15 too. Here are my recommendations. You should for sure read Harry Potter, but maybe try some Stephen King books. He doesn't do that many series' but he does do some really good short horror story collections. Some of my favorites are the Skeleton Crew, Night Shift, Full Dark No Stars, Hearts in Atlantis, and Nightmares and Dreamscapes. As for series, try the Bachman Books, and the Dark Tower series. Some of his better single books are Desperation, IT, the Shining, the Running Man, the Dark Half, the Mist, Misery, and Firestarter. Although, all his books are rather long, and can be disturbing. I don't find them scary, but I know some people who do.

New home has ammonia smell, where can this be coming from?

We have no pets. The smell is confined to 2nd floor and no smell in the attic. New paint and flooring is about 6 wks old. Smell started about 2 wks ago, about 3 days after blown-in (cellulose) insulation was added to the attic, however there is no smell in the attic. The strongest odor is in the game room that has glue down linoleum flooring and a small refrigerator-these are the only differences from the other 2nd floor rooms. The 2nd floor has its own HVAC units. HVAC contractor states there are no components in the system that would give off an ammonia smell. Plumber states the smell is not that of sewage or dead animal. All drain traps have been filled with water. Where can this be coming from? Are there services that can help?

Dead-beat father?

My father and I used to be really close until I nine and he started drinking alcohol again. He stopped with the alochol when I was born, but than started on alochol and drugs again and got my mother involved. Now, he's in jail for ualt and shoplifting and has been so for a year. He's on SSI because he's deaf in one ear, but has always worked under the table; so he has never had to pay child support. Even when the judge order him to pay a measly $70 dollars a week combined for three kids he still didn't pay it. My mother has gotten of drugs and is has been off of them for two years. Well Last nite my throat felt itchy but I took a nyquil because my sinuses felt congested and I didn't have any other decongestant.This morning I woke up with an extremely itchy and sore throat(it hurt to breathe through my nose) and this crazy terrible itching in my inner ear like where I can't reach. you probably don't even have all those styles in your town to pick from...but,,find one you like and stay with it...all of them will give you fundamental skill. I believe the capacitor is failing on my furnace. Why you ask. Sometimes the blower/fan motor will start and run fine, but lately when it turns on it will just sit there and hum until it gets hot and trips the breaker. I f I bump it or turn the pulley while it is humming it will start to spin and run strong. It is a fairly new motor. I cannot locate the capacitor, it is a Dayton motor model# 6K778B. It blows out of the defrost and the floor vents at the same time no matter what position the heat control is in...the fan speen works fine but the control for vent, heater or bi-level wont do anything when mover...any ideas???

Mine was this. I had just started working for a transport company driving between terminals. I was at one of our other terminals when I saw another driver that was a woman. Not what you would call a looker. Anyway, a few days later one of the guys was asking me how I liked the job so far. I said it was alright and making small talk as another driver came up to us. I then commented on this woman driver described her and then kept yakking about how unattractive she was. The second driver left us without a word. The first driver had this huge smile on his face and told me I should stay away from that guy for awhile. When I asked why he told me that that was the other guys girlfriend. Why isn't my Baby Moving?

I'm 37.5 weeks pregnant and my baby stopped moving about 3 days ago. I feel her maybe once or twice very infrequently compared to about 3-5 days ago when she still moved slightly but enough to feel. I know they move less as they grow, but now she rarely budges, kicks, flips, turns etc... yesterday I posted a question and everyone gave me ideas (drink OJ, something Sweet, put cold bag of ice on belly, etc...) I tried it all. I just had dinner and a can of sprite to see if she would move. its been 45 minutes and still nothing. The doctors yesterday did an Non Stress Test (NST) and everything was normal with her.... but when I asked what I should do when she doesn't move they said Drink something sweet- I was annoyed at this point and left... Now again today its the same thing NO MOVEMENT... what am I supposed to do? I have a scheduled NST tomorrow at noon... but should I be worried?

Hey, on my mountain bike I'm having some problems with my chain rattling around and making some really horrible noises when jumping off dirt ramps and park bench's... I was wondering the best way to stop this happening? As a little preventative Ive been putting the gearing into the biggest chain-set on the front and cog on the back but it still bounces around... I wish they would go back to the old system. Jimmy is not my favorite driver, but he is definetly dominating these last few races and I think he will take the championship again this year. What kind of makeup could I use to enhance scars?

Basically, I'm working on a project in which I need to make scars look more visible so I know where to edit in Photoshop. hi, im a female turning 18 on feb.22nd. im graduating in may and i really need to loose around 20-25 pounds by may. i weigh 155, and my weight has been bothering for like the longest time. so on Feb.9/10 i decided to go on a diet but i would like to share my diet with you and share with you what i ate and i need to know if i will loose weight by doing this. So first of all, in the morning before i go to school, i drink a cup of Green tea, than at lunch time which is at 11am for me, i would most likely eat a teriyaki sub from subway with peppers, onions, green peppers but NO Mayo. than when i home from like around 3pm. i would eat a tortilla with tuna in it than at 5pm i go on my treadmill for 30 Min's and after that i drink water than i don't eat AFTER 6pm. BUT IF IM hungry after 6pm, i would eat a fruit or so. would i be able to loose weight if i continuing doing this everyday?

Firstly was your bike a crf150f or a crf15r as if it was the 'f' then either of the choices you mention are going to be a big jump for you. If you have never been on a 2 stroke then it will be a lot harder for you to ride as they are completely difference to a 4 stroke and both bikes are much of a much sixe wise although the 4 stroke is a little heavier. The power delivery on the 250f would be easier to manage than a 2 stroke. So perhaps you need to get some of the facts about both bikes and present them to your parents. Personally for someone who has not come up through the ranks of racing and learnt how to race and ride a 2 stroke I would prefer to put them on a 4 stroke any day.

Gender selection?

Why do some people get so upset at the idea of gender selection (like the Shettels Method)? I think everybody knows that there are no guarantees that it's going to work, and just because someone is hoping for one doesn't mean they won't love the baby if it is the other gender. I couldn't stand the graphics and cartoony looks of Zelda: Wind Waker. But I decided that I'd play it and beat anyway. And now that I have I have to say that it is the gayest game ever! So lame! Boring as hell, barely any temples, and the ending boss battles were so lame and the ending scenes were to frickin lame and dumb! Total lack of any sort of emotional or action drama. Not to mention the after credits scene was stupid too. I Love the Zelda series but that game puts a dent in the coolness of the series.
