"Betrayal"--How should I react to this?

My room mate saw me in a "bad" condition after a female friend that I like (she knows that I like her because I told her), refused to have me walk her home. He went behind my back to tell the girl, that she must tell me whether or not she likes me because his "roomie is suffering". I am pissed at him for doing it, but where do I go with this. The girl is talking to me normally, but "rumor" has it that she will pull me aside and tell me how she really feels. 19 yr old male....Thanks for the details.
