Would you open a barbershop with on-site childcare for your children?
A really good friend recently became a widow. She is a very well trained hairstylist. She would like to buy some real estate back in her home state. She's looking at buildings with living quarters attached to the building. She's planning to open her own barbershop and day spa for men. However, she's going to remodel a portion of the building for on-site childcare, for her 3 young children. Do you think this could pose a health hazard or possible injury to her children and the person she plans to care for her children while she is working? Her reasoning behind this is she needs to be a mother and provider now that her spouse is deceased. Does she need to contact building inspectors? What does she need to do.
